FARTS IN THE WILD

Today in 1st C we read and played with a fantastic book

Why did I chose a book of farts? 
Last class somebody farted and he was accused of that. I explained them that farting is normal and everybody does. I said I had a book I could show with all the animal farts. Today when I came in, everybody asked me for that book. 
It was a supermotivating class today. Everybody payed attention,they listened carefully, they laughed a lot after every fart,  they understood why we fart when I explained the way gases are produced in our stomach and we learnt a lot of vocabulary with all the animals that fart in the book: fish, cat, dog, meerkat, penguin, elephant, hippos, giraffes, monkeys and mouse. Sometimes an ancdote can be the origin of a perfect learning.

Look how much fun we had today!!!

 

 Today we had so much fun in the English classroom. As we were learning the vocabulary, they had to touch and guess the school supply from the "magic bag". It was great to play with them.
They enjoyed it very much!

It is a good idea to play with your child to practise the vocabulary at home.
Put in a bag some school supplies, cover his/her eyes. Make him/her grab an objetc. Let him/ her touch it and finally he/she guesses the name. Everytime that is correct, he /she can win a kiss from mummy or daddy.

LOOK AT OUR TOYS!!!

We asked our children to bring their favourite toys to school!! They had so much fun!!! They described them. They said the color, the size and the name. When we finished, we played in the playground with them. What a fantastic class to remember!!! Here there are some photos about that moment!!

Hello everyone!!

BROWN BEAR, BROWN BEAR WHAT DO YOU SEE?
Books are really important for our children. They are good for developing his imagination, creativity and also helps their love at reading.
I usually use books in my classes, specially in the early learners of my English classes. This book is one of my favourites, I used to read it to my son Miguel to learn the colors in Spanish. He used to repeat it with me, point to the colours I named and guess the animal by its color. I think it is a fantastic book for learning the colors in English too. 
Parents, you can enjoy it in these links and watch it again with your children. They will love to share it with you.

These week we started the UNIT 1 TOYS.

We learnt the vocabulary and we practised the words with real toys (ball, teddy, car, doll, kite and robot).
Your children have to bring their favourite toys to the classroom. They have to describe them (colour and size) and I will take a photo with them. This photo will be used in their projects.
